Peer Review Process in Jurnal Ilmiah Kesehatan Pencerah

  1. Manuscript Submission
  • Authors submit manuscripts through the Jurnal Ilmiah Kesehatan Pencerah online submission system.
  • The editor conducts an initial evaluation to ensure that the manuscript aligns with the journal’s focus and scope, as well as compliance with submission guidelines.
  1. Initial Editorial Assessment
  • Manuscripts that pass the initial evaluation proceed to the peer review process. If a manuscript does not fall within the journal’s scope or fails to meet basic standards, the editor may directly reject it at this stage.
  • The editor also ensures that the manuscript does not contain potential plagiarism by using plagiarism detection software.
  1. Peer Review Process
  • Jurnal Ilmiah Kesehatan Pencerah employs a double-blind review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential.
  • The editor assigns at least two reviewers with expertise in relevant fields to evaluate the manuscript.
  • Reviewers provide detailed assessments regarding the scientific quality, originality, methodology, and contribution of the manuscript to existing knowledge.
  1. Reviewer’s Decision
    After evaluation, reviewers may recommend one of the following decisions:
  • Accepted without revision
  • Accepted with minor revisions
  • Accepted with major revisions
  • Rejected

Reviewers also provide constructive comments and suggestions to help authors improve their manuscripts.

  1. Manuscript Revision
  • If revisions are required, authors are given the opportunity to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the reviewers’ feedback.
  • Revised manuscripts are resubmitted to the editor and, if necessary, may be sent back to reviewers for further assessment.
  1. Final Editorial Decision
  • Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editor makes the final decision on whether the manuscript will be accepted, further revised, or rejected.
  • The final decision is communicated to the authors along with the reviewers’ feedback.
  1. Publication
  • Accepted manuscripts undergo final editing and are scheduled for publication in the appropriate journal issue.
  • Authors are notified of the publication schedule of their manuscripts.
