PERBANDINGAN PEMBERIAN AIR REBUSAN DAUN BINAHONG DAN EKSTRAK IKAN GABUS PADA PENYEMBUHAN LUKA IBU BERSALIN POST SC TAHUN 2022
Abstract
ABSTRACTBackground: The health impacts that arise as a result of SC deliveries are considered to be severe, for example infection, bleeding, organ injuries, complications due to anesthesia and death can occur. Common infections can hinder the wound healing process which in turn can lead to higher morbidity and mortality. 7-14 days post SC is the initial phase of the wound healing process for cesarean section. The general public already knows that consuming foods high in protein can heal wounds quickly. Research objective: Comparison of giving boiled water from binahong leaves with snakehead fish extract on wound healing in postpartum mothers after SC. Method: Using the Quasy Experimental Design method. Purposive sampling technique was used in this study. Inclusion criteria: Mothers post SC primipara/Multipara and stitches ± 10 cm and exclusion criteria Mothers post SC Grande. Data collection through observation sheets. The statistical test is Wilcoxon test. The research results from the Wilcoxon test obtained a value of Z = 2.496, Mean = 39.50 and p = 0.013 (p <0.05). Conclusion: there are differences in the effectiveness of snakehead fish extract and binahong leaves with the length of wound healing process in mothers with a history of SC surgery.
