THE EFFECT OF MENSTRUAL CYCLE ON HEMOGLOBIN LEVELS AMONG FEMALE ADOLESCENTS AT SMP NEGERI 2 AJUNG IN 2025

Abstract

Hemoglobin levels are very important in maintaining body balance. This study aims to analyze the relationship between menstruation and hemoglobin levels in the blood of adolescent girls and the influence of audiovisual media on the level of adolescent knowledge regarding the effects of decreased hemoglobin levels during menstruation. The sample of this study was determined using a purposive sampling area method, namely adolescent girls at SMP Negeri 2 AJUNG in 2025. The type of research is correlation analysis, with a cross-sectional approach. Data collection used a questionnaire and data analysis used a regression test by first conducting a normality test. The results of the study indicate that there is an effect of the menstrual cycle on hemoglobin levels.
