HUBUNGAN PEMBERIAN INFORMED CONSENT DENGAN KECEMASAN PASIEN PRE OPERASI DI RUANG CEMPAKA RSUD LUWUK

Abstract

Pre operasi adalah waktu dimulai ketika keputusan untuk informasi bedah dibuat dan berakhir ketika pasien dikirim ke meja operasi. Kondisi fisiologis yang dialami pasien yang akan menjalani operasi membuat mereka sangat bergantung pada orang lain. Selain itu, pasien menghadapi ancaman terhadap harga dirinya sendiri. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan pemberian informed consent untuk mengurangi kecemasan pasien terhadap ancaman-ancaman yang dirasakan pasien saat akan menjalani operasi. Informed concent adalah persetujuan tindakan yang diberikan oleh pasien kepada seorang dokter/tenaga medis yang akan melakukan tindakan medis yang seharusnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Pemberian Informed Consent Terhadap Kecemasan Pasien Pre Operasi di Ruang Cempaka RSUD Luwuk. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Cross Sectional Study yaitu suatu rancangan penelitian yang mempelajari dinamika korelasi dan asosiasi antara variabel independen dengan variabel dependen dan menggunakan uji Chi Square dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 38 responden yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan nilai ρ value = 0,000 lebih kecil dari α = 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan Pemberian Informed Consent Terhadap Kecemasan Pasien Pre Operasi di Ruang Cempaka RSUD Luwuk.

ABSTRACT

Preoperative is the time that begins when a decision for surgical information is made and ends when the patient is sent to the operating table. The physiological conditions experienced by patients who are about to undergo surgery make them highly dependent on others. In addition, the patient faces a threat to his or her self-esteem. Therefore, it is necessary to provide informed consent to reduce patients' anxiety about the threats that patients feel when they are about to undergo surgery. Informed concent is the consent of the action given by the patient to a doctor/medical personnel who will perform the appropriate medical procedure. This study aims to determine The Relationship Between the Provision of Informed Consent to Preoperative Patient Anxiety in the Cempaka Room of Luwuk Hospital. This type of research uses a Cross Sectional Study research design, which is a research design that studies the dynamics of correlation and association between independent variables and dependent variables and uses the Chi Square test with a total of 38 respondents taken using the Accidental sampling technique. The results of this study obtained a value of ρ value = 0.000 smaller than α = 0.05 so that H0 was rejected, thus it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the Provision of Informed Consent to Preoperative Patient Anxiety in the Cempaka Room of Luwuk Hospital.
