HUBUNGAN PERILAKU DAN PENGETAHUAN IBU TENTANG TANDA BAHAYA MASA NIFAS TERHADAP PEMANFAATAN BUKU KIA DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS TIWORO SELATAN TAHUN 2023

Abstract

The puerperium period is the period after the placenta is born and ends when the uterine organs are like the original state of pregnancy, lasting for about 6 weeks. The postpartum period is a vulnerable period for the survival of new mothers, most maternal deaths occur during the postpartum period so that postpartum health services play an important role in efforts to reduce maternal mortality. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between mothers' behavior and knowledge about the danger signs of the puerperium on the use of MCH books. Descriptive analytical research methods, cross sectional design, sample of 41 people, total sampling technique. Data presentation is carried out with the SPSS program version 21. The results of this study are statistical tests of maternal behavior about the danger signs of postpartum mothers on the use of MCH books obtained a value of ρvalue = 0.063, it was concluded that there was no relationship between maternal behavior about the danger signs of postpartum mothers to the use of MCH books. Statistical test of maternal knowledge about the danger signs of postpartum mothers on the use of MCH books obtained a value of ρvalue = 0.000, it was concluded that there was a relationship between maternal knowledge about the danger signs of postpartum mothers to the use of MCH books.
