HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN IBU PADA ANAK USIA 6-12 BULAN DENGAN KEBERHASILAN ASI EKSLUSIF DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS BUNGI KABUPATEN PINRANG

Abstract

Mother's lack of knowledge about the benefits of breastfeeding and
regulating lactation from pregnancy to delivery will have an impact on
behavior towards exclusive breastfeeding which is influenced by the
mother's attitude. In working and non-working mothers, there is also an
influence or difference in the success of exclusive breastfeeding,
although it cannot be separated from family support and other factors,
this success greatly affects the achievement rate of exclusive
breastfeeding which is relatively low. This study aims to determine the
relationship between mother's knowledge of children aged 6-12 months
with the success of exclusive breastfeeding in the working area of the
Bungi Public Health Center, Kab. Pinrang in 2022. The type of research
that will be carried out is using correlational analytic with cross
sectional design with total sampling method. The population in this
study were 88 mothers who had babies at least 6 -12 months in the
Bungi Public Health Center, Pinrang Regency. Most of the mothers
were categorized as good knowledge level (72.7%), and most of the
mothers gave exclusive breastfeeding (73.9%). In mothers with good
knowledge and giving exclusive breastfeeding (72.7%) the significance
test value is 0.000 which is lower than the standard significance of 0.05,
meaning that H1 is accepted, there is a relationship between the level of
knowledge and the success of exclusive breastfeeding using the
Spearman Rho test. The conclusion of this research is that there is a
relationship between the level of knowledge and the success of
exclusive breastfeeding in the Bungi Public Health Center, Pinrang
Regency.

Pengetahuan ibu yang kurang tentang manfaat ASI serta mengatur
laktasi sejak masa kehamilan sampai melahirkan akan berdampak pada
perilaku terhadap ASI eksklusif yang dipengaruhi sikap ibu tersebut.
Pada ibu bekerja dan tidak bekerja juga terdapat pengaruh atau
perbedaan keberhasilan pemberian ASI Eksklusif, meskipun tidak
terlepas dari dukungan keluarga dan faktor lainnya, keberhasilan
tersebut sangat mempengaruhi angka pencapaian ASI Eksklusif yang
tergolong rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan
pengetahuan Ibu pada anak usia 6-12 bulan dengan keberhasilan Asi
Eksklusif di wilayah kerja puskesmas bungi kab. pinrang tahun 2022.
Jenis penelitian yang akan dilakukan adalah menggunakan analitik
kolerasional dengan desain cross sectional dengan metode Total
sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 88 Ibu yang
punya bayi minimal 6 -12 bulan Di Wilayah Puskesmas bungi
Kabupaten Pinrang. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa sebagian
besar Ibu dikategorikan tingkat pengetahuan baik (72,7%), dan
Sebagian besar Ibu memberikan ASI Eksklusif (73,9%). Pada Ibu
dengan pengetahuan baik dan memberikan ASI Eksklusif (72,7%) nilai
uji signifikansi 0,000 yang lebih rendah dari standart signifikansi 0,05
artinya H1 diterima ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan
keberhasilan ASI Eksklusif dengan menggunakan menggunakan uji
Spearman Rho. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa ada hubungan
antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan keberhasilan ASI Eksklusif di
Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Bungi Kabupaten Pinran
